In August, six individuals will bravely take to the skies to raise funds for six worthy charities. This exhilarating event aims to achieve personal accomplishments, unite the companies Indigo and BMSL, and make a lasting impact on the lives of those in need.
The participants, Ashley Barnett, Liam Taylor, Nathalia Lourenco Smith, Patrick Bryan and Zara Santucci, each chose a charity close to their hearts, bringing together a diverse range of causes to champion.
Ashley Barnett, Indigo’s Financial Controller and the mastermind behind the venture, revealed that the idea gained momentum during conversations with team members Liam and Nathalia. Inspired by their dedication and the immense impact charities can have, the charity skydive was born.
The charities benefiting from this daredevil feat include Ruils, Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, Bright Sparks, London Ambulance Service Charitable Fund, and Alzheimer’s Research UK. Each cause represents a vital mission to empower and support individuals, from providing education and advocacy to delivering life-saving medical care and funding groundbreaking dementia research.
The participants are conquering their fears and raising funds totalling £2,250 with a minimum threshold of £375 each. This crucial financial support will enable the charities to continue their invaluable work and positively impact the lives of those they serve.
On Saturday, August 5th, GoSkydive Salisbury will host a skydiving event in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. With participants scheduled to arrive at 10 am, the event promises to be an adrenaline-fueled day filled with excitement and a collective drive for change.
While Ashley Barnett brings experience from a previous skydiving venture, this thrilling adventure will mark the first leap for Liam, Nathalia, Patrick, and Zara. They are willing to go to great lengths to make a meaningful impact on the charities they have chosen.
