The Indigo Group, the contracting services, umbrella and payroll outsourcing company, is delighted to announce that it will be sponsoring Cardiff Blues, Cardiff’s professional rugby team, for the 2019/20 season.
Indigo Group’s logo will feature on the official playing shirt throughout the season while the team plays in the Guinness Pro 14 league and the European Challenge Cup. The logo will also be used for in-stadium branding at Blues’ home ground, Cardiff Arms Park, in the centre of Cardiff.
Sponsoring the Blues is another example of Indigo Group’s commitment to investing in and supporting rugby in Wales. Indigo Group has also recently announced a partnership with Welsh Rugby to become title sponsors of what will be known as the Indigo Group Premiership in 2019.
With over 40 years’ experience, Indigo Group is a UK-wide business and is the market-leading provider of payroll solutions for contractors, freelancers and agencies in construction and other industries.
Ian Cole-Wilkins, CEO of Indigo Group, says: “We are thrilled to be sponsoring the Blues, one of the most famous names in British rugby.”
“This helps to confirm our commitment to sport in Cardiff and to Wales more generally, something that we at Indigo take great pride in.”
“We’re looking forward to taking part in what promises to be an exciting season ahead, both for the Welsh rugby team at the World Cup and the Blues at the Cardiff Arms Park.”
Cardiff Blues CEO, Richard Holland added: “We are pleased to welcome The Indigo Group to the Blues family and look forward to working alongside the business in what will undoubtedly be a highly beneficial partnership for both businesses.’’
