We understand that keeping your qualifications and information up-to-date is essential. That’s where MyIndigo alerts come into play, helping you manage your compliance and stay on track with your documentation. Let’s break it down for you:

What are alerts?

Alerts are like little reminders. They tell you when your qualifications, certificates, or information are about to expire or have already expired. This helps you keep everything up-to-date and ensures you remain compliant.

What are the types of alerts?

These alerts can take different forms, including security, compliance, or operational alerts. For you, though, it’s mainly about your specific qualifications and information, such as your CSCS card or Share Code. The type of alerts you get depends on your client and the badges on your profile.

What triggers the alerts?

Alerts trigger based on specific criteria, usually your qualification’s expiry date. For example, if your CSCS card expires on 01/10/2023, you’ll get a heads-up 30 days before it expires and another alert when it’s already expired.

Receiving and viewing alerts

We’ll send you an email when an alert pops up. This email tells you that a new alert is waiting for you in your profile.

To see the details, just log in, go to My Portal, click on My Profile, and scroll down to the “Alerts” section. You can also find your alerts through the “My Alerts” sidebar.

How do I know when to action the alert?

Once you’re in, you’ll see details for each alert. It tells you how many days you have left before something expires or if it’s already expired. The urgency depends on the alert message. If something’s already expired, you need to act quickly to keep your registration current.

What to do when you get an alert?

When you receive an alert, check the details and take the right actions. If it’s a warning of an upcoming expiry, you should either start renewing your qualifications or update the platform with new information if you have it.

How to edit alerts?

To find the relevant question set, click “My Profile” then scroll down to “Question Sets”

Click “edit,” and update your registration. Once you add a new expiry date, the alert will clear automatically.

Don’t forget to regularly review

Don’t forget to log in regularly to check your alerts. This ensures you’re always up-to-date and compliant. No one wants surprises when it comes to compliance, right?
